OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The administration of an estate by administrators of an estate under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the General Administration Department, Government of Uttarakhand on the manner in which the administration of an estate by administrators of an estate is to be regulated under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024.

2. The matter has been examined. Every administrator of an estate carrying on the administration of an estate shall make an application in Form IV to the Government of Uttarakhand within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of an estate is undertaken, and the Government of Uttarakhand shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
