OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The execution of agreements for sale by developers executing agreements for sale under the Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the execution of agreements for sale by developers executing agreements for sale is to be regulated under the Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957.

2. The matter has been examined. Every developer executing agreements for sale carrying on the execution of agreements for sale shall make an application in Form C to the Stamp Revenue Board within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of agreements for sale is undertaken, and the Stamp Revenue Board shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Karnataka.
