OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The imparting of education by electronic means by operators of an online education platform under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the imparting of education by electronic means by operators of an online education platform is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of an online education platform carrying on the imparting of education by electronic means shall make an application in Form H to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the imparting of education by electronic means is undertaken, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
