OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Enrolment as a cadet by cadets under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which enrolment as a cadet by cadets is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986.

2. The matter has been examined. Every cadet carrying on enrolment as a cadet shall make an application in Form H to the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which enrolment as a cadet is undertaken, and the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
