STANDING ORDER

To

All Superintendents of the Copying Department,

Subject: The translation of documents for the court by translators empanelled by the court under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954 (Uttar Pradesh Act 24 of 1954), the Labour Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the translation of documents for the court by translators empanelled by the court.

2. The matter has been examined. Every translator empanelled by the court carrying on the translation of documents for the court shall make an application in Form C to the Taxing Officer within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Superintendent of the Copying Department shall ensure that decree is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Taxing Officer within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
