STANDING ORDER
To
All Incident Commanders,
Subject: The operation of a hazardous installation by owners of a hazardous installation under the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2007, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2007 (Maharashtra Act 3 of 2007), the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of a hazardous installation by owners of a hazardous installation.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a hazardous installation carrying on the operation of a hazardous installation shall make an application in Form E to the Civil Defence Controller within three days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. The Incident Commander shall ensure that relief material is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Civil Defence Controller within three days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Maharashtra.
