STANDING ORDER

All Patwaris,

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 2020 (Telangana Act 9 of 2020), the Urban Development Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the survey of land by licensed surveyors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 14 to the Land Tribunal within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. The Patwari shall ensure that parcel of land is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Land Tribunal within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Telangana.
