STANDING ORDER

To

All Naib Tahsildars,

Subject: The removal of earth from Government land by persons removing earth from Government land under the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Act, 2023, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Act, 2023 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 2023), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the removal of earth from Government land by persons removing earth from Government land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person removing earth from Government land carrying on the removal of earth from Government land shall make an application in Form 8 to the Tahsildar within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Naib Tahsildar shall ensure that patta is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Tahsildar within one hundred and eighty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
