OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The safety of a school building by owners of a school building under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information Technology Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the safety of a school building by owners of a school building is to be regulated under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a school building carrying on the safety of a school building shall make an application in Form G to the Relief Commissioner within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the safety of a school building is undertaken, and the Relief Commissioner shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
