STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Tahsildars,

Subject: The holding of land in excess of the ceiling by holders of land in excess of the ceiling under the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Act, 2023, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Act, 2023 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 2023), the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of land in excess of the ceiling by holders of land in excess of the ceiling.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land in excess of the ceiling carrying on the holding of land in excess of the ceiling shall make an application in Form 14 to the State Government within seven days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. The Deputy Tahsildar shall ensure that land revenue receipt is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Government within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
