OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of an inam by inamdars under the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Act, 2023, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Ports Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the holding of an inam by inamdars is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Act, 2023.

2. The matter has been examined. Every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall make an application in Form 7 to the State Government within seven days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of an inam is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
