STANDING ORDER

To

All Waqf Officers,

Subject: The running of a society by societies under the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987 (Andhra Pradesh Act 30 of 1987), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a society by societies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every society carrying on the running of a society shall make an application in Form E to the Registrar of Societies within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. The Waqf Officer shall ensure that lease of trust property is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar of Societies within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
