OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The management of a co-operative housing society by co-operative housing societies under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Transport Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the management of a co-operative housing society by co-operative housing societies is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972.

2. The matter has been examined. Every co-operative housing society carrying on the management of a co-operative housing society shall make an application in Form A to the Appellate Tribunal within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of a co-operative housing society is undertaken, and the Appellate Tribunal shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
