OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The slaughter of animals by keepers of a slaughter house under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information Technology Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the slaughter of animals by keepers of a slaughter house is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973.
2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a slaughter house carrying on the slaughter of animals shall make an application in Form E to the Standing Committee within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the slaughter of animals is undertaken, and the Standing Committee shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
