STANDING ORDER

To

All Incident Commanders,

Subject: The execution of relief works by contractors for relief works under the Uttar Pradesh Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2005, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2005 (Uttar Pradesh Act 9 of 2005), the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the execution of relief works by contractors for relief works.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for relief works carrying on the execution of relief works shall make an application in Form D to the District Authority within three days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Incident Commander shall ensure that no-objection certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the District Authority within three days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
