OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The working of a brick kiln in a village by owners of a brick kiln in a village under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Rajasthan on the manner in which the working of a brick kiln in a village by owners of a brick kiln in a village is to be regulated under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a brick kiln in a village carrying on the working of a brick kiln in a village shall make an application in Form 4 to the Gram Panchayat within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the working of a brick kiln in a village is undertaken, and the Gram Panchayat shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Rajasthan.
