OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The working of a brewery by brewers under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Tourism Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the working of a brewery by brewers is to be regulated under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009.

2. The matter has been examined. Every brewer carrying on the working of a brewery shall make an application in Form H to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the working of a brewery is undertaken, and the Deputy Commissioner of Excise shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
