OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a pilgrim lodge by operators of a pilgrim lodge under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Rajasthan on the manner in which the running of a pilgrim lodge by operators of a pilgrim lodge is to be regulated under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a pilgrim lodge carrying on the running of a pilgrim lodge shall make an application in Form E to the Government of Rajasthan within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a pilgrim lodge is undertaken, and the Government of Rajasthan shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Rajasthan.
