OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The plying of a tourist vehicle by operators of a tourist vehicle under the Kerala Tourism (Conservation and Preservation of Areas) Act, 2005, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Housing Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which the plying of a tourist vehicle by operators of a tourist vehicle is to be regulated under the Kerala Tourism (Conservation and Preservation of Areas) Act, 2005.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a tourist vehicle carrying on the plying of a tourist vehicle shall make an application in Form II to the Museum Board within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the plying of a tourist vehicle is undertaken, and the Museum Board shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Kerala.
