STANDING ORDER

To

All Registrars,

Subject: The manufacture of insecticides by manufacturers of insecticides under the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1987, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1987 (Tamil Nadu Act 27 of 1987), the Agriculture Department, Government of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the manufacture of insecticides by manufacturers of insecticides.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer of insecticides carrying on the manufacture of insecticides shall make an application in Form F to the Seed Certification Agency within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Registrar shall ensure that market fee receipt is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Seed Certification Agency within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
