OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The use of the national emblem by users of the national emblem under the Karnataka Lokayukta Act, 1985, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the General Administration Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the use of the national emblem by users of the national emblem is to be regulated under the Karnataka Lokayukta Act, 1985.

2. The matter has been examined. Every user of the national emblem carrying on the use of the national emblem shall make an application in Form B to the Registrar of the Commission within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of the national emblem is undertaken, and the Registrar of the Commission shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Karnataka.
