STANDING ORDER

To

All Civil Defence Officers,

Subject: The preparedness of a hospital for emergencies by operators of a hospital under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 1999), the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies by operators of a hospital.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a hospital carrying on the preparedness of a hospital for emergencies shall make an application in Form C to the State Executive Committee within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Civil Defence Officer shall ensure that stock is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Executive Committee within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
