STANDING ORDER

To

All Joints Director General of Foreign Trade,

Subject: The receipt of foreign contribution by recipients of foreign contribution under the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002 (Karnataka Act 45 of 2002), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the receipt of foreign contribution by recipients of foreign contribution.

2. The matter has been examined. Every recipient of foreign contribution carrying on the receipt of foreign contribution shall make an application in Form ANF-5A to the Export Promotion Council within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Joint Director General of Foreign Trade shall ensure that shipping bill is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Export Promotion Council within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka.
