STANDING ORDER

To

All Charity Commissioners,

Subject: The holding of trust property on lease by lessees of trust property under the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987 (Andhra Pradesh Act 30 of 1987), the Home Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of trust property on lease by lessees of trust property.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of trust property carrying on the holding of trust property on lease shall make an application in Form B to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Charity Commissioner shall ensure that register is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within one hundred and eighty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
