OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The giving of private tuition by private tutors under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Education Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the giving of private tuition by private tutors is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982.

2. The matter has been examined. Every private tutor carrying on the giving of private tuition shall make an application in Form C to the Commission within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the giving of private tuition is undertaken, and the Commission shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
