OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The issue of electronic signature certificates by certifying authorities under the Kerala Police Act, 2011, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Social Welfare Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which the issue of electronic signature certificates by certifying authorities is to be regulated under the Kerala Police Act, 2011.

2. The matter has been examined. Every certifying authority carrying on the issue of electronic signature certificates shall make an application in Form B to the Government of Kerala within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the issue of electronic signature certificates is undertaken, and the Government of Kerala shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Kerala.
