STANDING ORDER

To

All Emergency Officers,

Subject: The operation of an early warning system by operators of an early warning system under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Labour Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of an early warning system by operators of an early warning system.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of an early warning system carrying on the operation of an early warning system shall make an application in Form A to the State Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Emergency Officer shall ensure that warning is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Authority within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
