STANDING ORDER

To

All Rent Controllers,

Subject: The management of a co-operative housing society by co-operative housing societies under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972 (Uttar Pradesh Act 13 of 1972), the Energy Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the management of a co-operative housing society by co-operative housing societies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every co-operative housing society carrying on the management of a co-operative housing society shall make an application in Form G to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Rent Controller shall ensure that agreement for sale is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
