OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The raising of plants in a nursery by nursery growers under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which the raising of plants in a nursery by nursery growers is to be regulated under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969.

2. The matter has been examined. Every nursery grower carrying on the raising of plants in a nursery shall make an application in Form H to the Director of Agriculture within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the raising of plants in a nursery is undertaken, and the Director of Agriculture shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Kerala.
