STANDING ORDER

To

All Compliance Officers,

Subject: The conduct of a competition by organisers under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the conduct of a competition by organisers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every organiser carrying on the conduct of a competition shall make an application in Form F to the Agency within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Compliance Officer shall ensure that calendar of events is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Agency within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Telangana.
