STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputies Commissioner of Excise,

Subject: The wholesale vend of liquor by wholesale vendors under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the wholesale vend of liquor by wholesale vendors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every wholesale vendor carrying on the wholesale vend of liquor shall make an application in Form F to the Excise Appellate Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Commissioner of Excise shall ensure that transport pass is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Excise Appellate Authority within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
