OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The valuation of property for the court by valuers appointed by the court under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the valuation of property for the court by valuers appointed by the court is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every valuer appointed by the court carrying on the valuation of property for the court shall make an application in Form E to the High Court within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the valuation of property for the court is undertaken, and the High Court shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
