STANDING ORDER

To

All Chiefs Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad,

Subject: The keeping of a village shop by keepers of a village shop under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (Rajasthan Act 13 of 1994), the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the keeping of a village shop by keepers of a village shop.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a village shop carrying on the keeping of a village shop shall make an application in Form 8 to the District Collector within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad shall ensure that tax receipt is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the District Collector within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Rajasthan.
