OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The manufacture of denatured spirit by manufacturers of denatured spirit under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh on the manner in which the manufacture of denatured spirit by manufacturers of denatured spirit is to be regulated under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer of denatured spirit carrying on the manufacture of denatured spirit shall make an application in Form B to the Government of Madhya Pradesh within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of denatured spirit is undertaken, and the Government of Madhya Pradesh shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
