OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The transport of hazardous chemicals by transporters of hazardous chemicals under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the transport of hazardous chemicals by transporters of hazardous chemicals is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999.

2. The matter has been examined. Every transporter of hazardous chemicals carrying on the transport of hazardous chemicals shall make an application in Form C to the District Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the transport of hazardous chemicals is undertaken, and the District Authority shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
