OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The certification of construction by architect certifying a projects under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Housing Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the certification of construction by architect certifying a projects is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960.

2. The matter has been examined. Every architect certifying a project carrying on the certification of construction shall make an application in Form A to the Adjudicating Officer within seven days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the certification of construction is undertaken, and the Adjudicating Officer shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
