STANDING ORDER

To

All Regional Transport Officers,

Subject: The aggregation of transport services by aggregators under the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Tax Act, 1958, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Tax Act, 1958 (Maharashtra Act 65 of 1958), the Energy Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the aggregation of transport services by aggregators.

2. The matter has been examined. Every aggregator carrying on the aggregation of transport services shall make an application in Form 1 to the Transport Commissioner within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Regional Transport Officer shall ensure that pollution certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Transport Commissioner within fourteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Maharashtra.
