STANDING ORDER

To

All Waqf Officers,

Subject: The administration of a trust by trustees under the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952 (Odisha Act 2 of 1952), the Finance Department, Government of Odisha hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the administration of a trust by trustees.

2. The matter has been examined. Every trustee carrying on the administration of a trust shall make an application in Form F to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Waqf Officer shall ensure that scheme is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Odisha.
