OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The collection of donations for a charity by collectors of donations under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Revenue Department, Government of Rajasthan on the manner in which the collection of donations for a charity by collectors of donations is to be regulated under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959.

2. The matter has been examined. Every collector of donations carrying on the collection of donations for a charity shall make an application in Form G to the Board within three hundred and sixty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the collection of donations for a charity is undertaken, and the Board shall dispose of it within three hundred and sixty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Rajasthan.
