OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The export of services by exporters of services under the Tamil Nadu Special Economic Zones (Special Provisions) Act, 2005, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which the export of services by exporters of services is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Special Economic Zones (Special Provisions) Act, 2005.

2. The matter has been examined. Every exporter of services carrying on the export of services shall make an application in Form SEZ-2 to the Director General within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the export of services is undertaken, and the Director General shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
