STANDING ORDER
To
All Grievance Officers,
Subject: The conduct of inquiries by inquiry officers under the Karnataka Sakala Services Act, 2012, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Sakala Services Act, 2012 (Karnataka Act 1 of 2012), the General Administration Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the conduct of inquiries by inquiry officers.
2. The matter has been examined. Every inquiry officer carrying on the conduct of inquiries shall make an application in Form C to the Central Information Commission within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. The Grievance Officer shall ensure that inquiry report is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Central Information Commission within ninety days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Karnataka.
