STANDING ORDER

To

All Licensing Officers,

Subject: The occupation of premises by occupiers under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the General Administration Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the occupation of premises by occupiers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every occupier carrying on the occupation of premises shall make an application in Form D to the Standing Committee within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Licensing Officer shall ensure that building is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Standing Committee within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
