OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The development of plots by owners of a plotted development under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the development of plots by owners of a plotted development is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a plotted development carrying on the development of plots shall make an application in Form A to the Adjudicating Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the development of plots is undertaken, and the Adjudicating Officer shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
