OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Service in the Force by enrolled persons under the Karnataka Control of Organised Crimes Act, 2002, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which service in the Force by enrolled persons is to be regulated under the Karnataka Control of Organised Crimes Act, 2002.

2. The matter has been examined. Every enrolled person carrying on service in the Force shall make an application in Form A to the Defence Estates Officer within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which service in the Force is undertaken, and the Defence Estates Officer shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Karnataka.
