STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistants Superintendent of Stamps,

Subject: The granting of leases by lessors of immovable property under the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999 (Rajasthan Act 14 of 1999), the Law Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the granting of leases by lessors of immovable property.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessor of immovable property carrying on the granting of leases shall make an application in Form D to the Collector within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Assistant Superintendent of Stamps shall ensure that refund application is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Collector within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Rajasthan.
