STANDING ORDER

To

All Excise Inspectors,

Subject: The working of a winery by licensees of a winery under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Excise Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the working of a winery by licensees of a winery.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a winery carrying on the working of a winery shall make an application in Form A to the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi within ten days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.

3. The Excise Inspector shall ensure that excisable article is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi within ten days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Excise Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
