OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The manufacture of goods for export by export oriented units under the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Energy Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the manufacture of goods for export by export oriented units is to be regulated under the Karnataka Industries (Facilitation) Act, 2002.

2. The matter has been examined. Every export oriented unit carrying on the manufacture of goods for export shall make an application in Form ANF-3A to the Director General within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of goods for export is undertaken, and the Director General shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Karnataka.
