STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistants Commissioner of Excise,

Subject: The keeping of a bonded warehouse by bonded warehouse keepers under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the keeping of a bonded warehouse by bonded warehouse keepers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bonded warehouse keeper carrying on the keeping of a bonded warehouse shall make an application in Form D to the Licensing Authority within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Assistant Commissioner of Excise shall ensure that licence is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Licensing Authority within fourteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
