OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The occupation of waqf property by tenants of waqf property under the Uttar Pradesh Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Act, 1983, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Revenue Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the occupation of waqf property by tenants of waqf property is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Act, 1983.
2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant of waqf property carrying on the occupation of waqf property shall make an application in Form A to the Waqf Tribunal within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of waqf property is undertaken, and the Waqf Tribunal shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
