STANDING ORDER

To

All Internal Auditors,

Subject: The management of a public sector undertaking by public sector undertakings under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999 (Gujarat Act 11 of 1999), the Labour Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the management of a public sector undertaking by public sector undertakings.

2. The matter has been examined. Every public sector undertaking carrying on the management of a public sector undertaking shall make an application in Form GFR 41 to the Accountant General within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Internal Auditor shall ensure that utilisation certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Accountant General within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Gujarat.
